Dr. Menand received her BA magna cum laude from Harvard and her MD from Weill Cornell Medical College. She was the recipient of the Richard N. Kohl Prize for Excellence in Psychiatry from the Weill Cornell Department of Psychiatry, the Leah J. Dickstein, M.D. Award from the Association of Women Psychiatrists, and the Medical Society of the State of New York Award for outstanding community service. She completed residency training in psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident.

In addition to seeing patients in private practice, she works as an attending physician for Janian Medical Care, delivering psychiatric services to individuals currently or previously experiencing homelessness.

Dr. Menand is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
